Thank you for signing up!  This page is designed to explain the registration process.

Registration

Please send an email to katherinehelenstone@gmail.com with the workshop of your choice in the subject line.  Please attach a few images of your work (or provide a link to your website if you have one) and let me know a little bit about your past experience or art education.  Because things are hectic around here with commissions and a baby, please know that I usually process workshop inquiries in batch once or twice per week.  I will reserve available spots for inquiring students in the order that their emails are received, regardless of whether a deposit has been paid.  Please include your phone number in your email.

Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the workshop fee will hold your spot in the workshop.  The balance, plus modeling fee if applicable, will be due two months from the start of the workshop.  Payments can be made by cheque or by eTransfer.

Please consult my B&B listing to find nearby accommodations and work out your travel plan.  If you need more help, let me know by email.

 

Workshop Materials Lists

Students can access the materials list for their workshop by clicking on the buttons below.  If you are interested in purchasing either a panel or a brush set from me, remember to discuss this with me before the workshop.

Students in the Still Life Foundation in Oils workshop are welcome to bring whatever oil paintings materials they already have (paints, brushes, palette, knives, apron.  Mediums are not necessary) and supplement with my studio supplies where necessary.  Students who are new to oil painting and do not own any oil painting materials yet will be using my studio supplies.

NOTE: The materials lists below are from the 2016 workshop schedule.  Some changes will be made to these in the coming months to update them for 2017, but they will give an idea to students of what materials will be needed.
